Pours very dark and deep brown/red Small darker foam Smells weird . I get dark malts , bit perfume .. Sweet taste . Some malts , some sugar . Also get the FOB fleshyness , but not the sour aspect . By far the best from bavaria yet

Het bier geproefd op de diamanten bruiloft van m’n opa en oma. Het heeft een donker bruine kleur, met bruin schuim. En heeft een zoete afdronk

Bottle of 300 ml at home. Pours a very dark brown beer with less than one finger of brownish head. The head leaves some lacing as it goes down. Aroma is of roasted malts, some coffee and some caramel. Taste is very sweet with the expectable sour aftertaste. On the body is thick and it has light carbonation.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2006 Re-rate, Bottled: Aroma has hints of caramel and hops. Dark brown color, almost creamy head, good lace. Light sweet, light roasted, light bitter, caramel, medium body. Pretty ok for the style. Bottled, June 2004, 2.2: Vegetable aroma. Dark brown color, grey/beige head, good lace. Pretty sweet, sugar, light caramel, hint of vegetable, thin.

Test vom 22.4.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,10,13,6,10 - 9,80

Don’t really like this beer since it’s low alcohol. The body of this beer suffers from the only 3% abv.

One of the more enjoyable "Oud Bruin" style of beers, of which I’m not too fond.

McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - MAR 25, 2014
Pours out of the bottle in a deep dark brown colour with steadyy low head and medium to thin body. Aroma of malt and sugar. Taste of malt, sugar, leaves, caramel, apples and cake. Easy drinkable and not that bad.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 1, 2011
Bottle: Brown head, disappears quick. Deep brown colored beer with a ruby red tint. Smell (toasted) malts, light spicy, hints of oatmeal and dark fruits. Taste is a watery mix of dark fruits, raisin, light sweet, toasted malts, barleys, brown sugars and a hint of molasses. Low body, low to medium carbo and a soft mouthfeel. Watery texture.

Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2011
Dark brown color, average beige head. Smell bread and sugar. Taste is very sweet, little bit oily texture even though it’s not really thick.
