UPDATED: DEC 3, 2006 Can. 500ml Appearance of typical pale lager , perhaps its white top is lightly neater than most of its kind. Light , grainy aroma , very pale , hint of alcohol. Thin bodied , sweet palate. Very low hop content. Light yet dry alcohol at finish. First time tried in 90 and I might take another 16 years to have another.

Maybe something on the trip from Holland to Mexico didnt agree with this, but it smells off. The appearance is disappointing, dark yellow with a short lived head. Flavor, well...not great, the hops are there, but it has an unpleasant bitterness. The aftertaste is also an unpleasant bitter. Overall, its just not a very good beer.

Clean and refreshing with light hop and very light malt aroma that reminds me of crackers. Everything about this is light and laid back. Not much sweetness or bitterness. Its a decent drink that knows its place in life. No pretentions or ambitions. Finish is of a medly of floral hops. Cheap and acceptable.

Usual pilsner, blah, blah, blah. But hey it was on offer at my supermarket. Thats it!

Blatantly not from Bavaria but it does tastes a little bit like a Helles. Nice soft malt but its a bit milky. Not much hop going on but I guess thats the style. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2005 Yes! I bought this because I hadnt had that wonderful skunkyness of a pils in a while, and, man, I wasnt disappointed. This is the skunkiest nose Ive ever experienced! The tastes are all mild but consist of butterscotch, light breadiness, and a bit of lemon pepper dryness on the back of the tongue. What can I say? Perhaps, "I hate pilsners."

in the style of heineken and those other european lagers. tastes nothing very distinctive and really leaves a lot to be desired.

500 ml can. Very pale golden beer with thin white head, fading back quickly to thin lace. Aroma of hay, pale malt. Flavour is slightly sweet, pale malt, grassy hops. Comes across a bit industrial. Sweetish finish.

its a lot better from the tap than it is from the bottle, but its still the same stuff. cheap golden fizzy european lager. The first sip always tastes a bit skunky, but it finishishes clean and crisp.
