6 oz on tap.
Pours a hazed auburn brown color, thick fluffy white head, nice retention with patches of lacing along the glass.
Deep golden with a white head. Bready malts more than the light pine and citrus hops. Comes across very muted. An odd, possibly vegetal, finish. Not vegetal, but I can’t place it. Had this a few times at different places so it wasn’t the tap lines. I gave it multiple chance because I wanted to like this beer from BB, but alas, it was not to be. So long, Bavarian Barbarian. Had at the bards. Pour was a light bodied slightly darker yellow with half in head. Aroma was bland hops and minor floral notes. Flavor washarsh hops and slightly skunked. Not very good 50belair (3701) - Florida, USA - AUG 28, 2011
Bottle. Golden pour with a white head. Faint piney aromas. The taste is bland non-descript hops and lacking in the malt backbone department. keepersj12 (3142) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 13, 2011
I had this after two draft Pliny the Elders so I tried to be fair. The aroma is malty sweet with a nice pine and citrus bite. The pour is amber with a small head. The flavor is really good for the style just not so much after a Pliny the Elder. All in all, a decent IPA. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 20, 2011
Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head...lively looking with co2 action. Aroma has notable maltiness and also spicy, earthy hoppiness. Flavor follows suit...breadiness and mild caramel with nicd spicy and earthy hop flavor. Mouthfeel is smooth and slightly sticky with a dry, lingering hoppy finish.

It’s not bad which for this brewery is a real achievement. Not a lot of hop action on the nose. The taste is sweet and slightly pungent. Not a lot of linger to this one. Not bad. dmac (6591) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - FEB 17, 2011
22 oz bomber from Capone’s. Poured a rather ugly apple cider body, including lots of floaties, under a pillowy white head. Aroma of citrus, grains, grass and hops. Flavor is basically the same but slightly more dry with a touch more yellow grapefruit. Body is way to fizzy, I tried to swallow two quick sips and could barely do it. Seriously this was so carbonated its like the Saltine cracker challenge but in liquid form. Still pretty tasty despite that flaw. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 16, 2011
A: This one pours a slightly hazed orange color with a finger or so of white head.
S: Smells quite citrusy with a lot of lemon rind and orange, maybe a touch of tangerine. Unfortunately, there is a definite butter aroma to the nose. Some bread and maybe floral hop notes are also present.
T: Lots of bready malt with a subtle hop flavor. Lemon, orange, and bitter pine with floral hop notes to it. Quite buttery which is not pleasant in the slightest. There’s a weird herbal note to the beer that I cannot exactly pinpoint.
M: The body is medium with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: If nothing else, this brewery has a great name. However, this beer wasn’t so great. Leafs93 (2343) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 16, 2011
Pours cloudy orange with white head. Aroma was very muted citrus and pine hops and some breadyness. Taste was not as bitter as expected, it was more sweet.
