A word about "Export" first. This disappearing style, used to be a variation on Pils. Usually less fermented (earlier pasteurisation) so the beer is sweeter and lower in ABV. But, in Belgium, the other main difference is that the beer is served in 33 cl, 'staid of the habitual 25 cl Pils. It has all but vanished, and most breweries today just fill 33cl of Pils. This is an exception.
Dark gold; thick white, collapsing head, quite lacey. Herbal nose, even some hops - rest is predictably malty. Taste is sweet malt, clean & crisp. Faint corn taste. Slight slickness in mouthfeel, makes me think of corn again. Aftertaste gets more corn, as well as some sweet dough. As I said, apart from the hopnose, very predictable. It is very good in its style - but nowhere exciting. TJackHole (83) - Alabama, USA - MAY 28, 2004

Belgium. 12 oz can. Hazy pale yellow pour with a small white head and minimal retention. Decent lacing. Flat mouthfeel. Sweet euro lager taste. Smooth. Pedestrian. Floaters present. Erzengel (9364) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 28, 2013
33cl. Pale golden in colour, white head. The beer starts very bitter, slightly grainy. The mainpart is well balanced, slightly dry, lager typical and slightly bitter. The aftertaste is medium, a bit sweeter, slightly grainy and slightly bitter. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - AUG 5, 2006
--> typical pale lager. Not the worst one. --> 10/12/10/10
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2007 Pours pale yellow w/ a decent head. Aromas of hay and skunky malts. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are skunky and canny. I do however like the expansive texture of soft cloth on the palate that it creates. The finish is bittered mildly leaving a waxy fruit flavor to enjoy.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear pale golden with a white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body, clean malts, a little sulphur and a dry and bitter finish. Almost German in style. 040409 kraddel (8761) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 12, 2015
Pours clear, very light yellow. Ok white head. Smell is unintense, some notes of sweet malts. Taste is bit bitter, very crispy and rather dry. slightly chemical in the front, but overpowered by a more natural feeling grainy ending. Not much aftertaste. OK mouthfeel and carbo. Rather blank though BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 30, 2009
33cl, from the brewery, not complex brew, yet refreshing, balanced, clear, good head, simpel brew nearbeer (5563) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 6, 2014
33 cl. can. Pours a lightly hazy golden-yellow with a lasting film and ring of cream. Nose is honey, dry lemongrass and a bit of starchy rice. Taste is honey, beeswax, metallic citrus and minty, dry grass. Light-medium body has medium-high carbonation and a dry finish. RichJ7 (1175) - Cullman, Alabama, USA - JUN 3, 2009
Clear gold with a thin white head.Sour lagery aroma with a dose of Belgian yeast. Clean and crisp lager flavor. Not bad, but not wonderful.
