COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Waar rook is, was vuur! Deze Porter krijgt zijn rokerig karakter door het gebruik van gerookte en gebrande mouten. Een donker bier om rustig voor te gaan zitten en lekker van te genieten.

Ok beer, smokyness comes through nicely. Minimal head, foam is sticky though. Taste is sweet with a lingering sweet and bittery finish. Quite a lot of carbonation, too much in my opinion. Also misses complexity.

Kita (2150) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUN 30, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy dark brown color with thin creamy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of grass, smoked sausage, leather and nuts. Taste starts mild sour fruity and grainy, follows by roasted malt, mild smoke and licorice, mouthfeel is umami, mild spicy and warming, while finish is medium bitter. Medium to full body, sticky texture and soft carbonation in palate. Excellent brew...

33cl bottle at home. Appearance:deep mahogany with reddish hue and small off-white head. Aroma: smoke, dark roasted malts, trace of bacon. Taste: above medium sweetness and quite high bitterness. Notes of smoke, burnt/roasted malts, licorice and yeast. Finish is sticky and smoky with licorice. Palate: medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation.

Fles 33 cl, smaakt rokerig, droge ijzerachtige nadronk, complex biertje, niet om zo maar weg te drinken.

Iznogud (3801) - CROATIA - MAY 15, 2017
On tap at Vrteška, 2017. Pours brown with tan head. Some smoke in aroma, bacon, caramel, malty, some dried fruit. Sweet. Dry finish. Medium bodied.

Pours dark reddish brown (every dark beer is actually reddish, never black :) ); nevermind: foamy long lasting beige head. Aroma: pale ale, supported with caramel, hint of chocolate, mokka& dark, dried fruit like esters. Flavour follows aroma: there’s also noticeable smoked notes, fruity, floral hop charackter. . All ingerediend are pretty well blended. Body is meoderate medium, texture soft, carbonation medium.

Marko (5711) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 8, 2017
On tap at Vrteška. Murky brown body, thick white head. Caramel and raisins in the aroma, big maltiness, soft and pleasant though, low to no smoke there. The smoke is, however, evident in the taste. Apart from that, the body’s sweetish, with fruity touches, nicely balanced with a light bitterness. Ends dry. A quality beer.

Marrón rojiza, capa de espuma cremosa. Aroma a bacon ahumado. En boca es sabrosa, ahumada, con notas de chocolate. Seca, con postgusto a chocolate y amargor moderado. Rica.

Niet al te zware gerookte porter. best fris, gebalanceerd, iets zoet. Erg makkelijk te drinken. Prettig, goed gedaan. dit was een 6,3% versie.

Drank with @Patrick, also with Rik 01-04-17. Good beer! Soft, comprehensive and rich. Not too smoked. Balanced.
