COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Waar rook is, was vuur! Deze Porter krijgt zijn rokerig karakter door het gebruik van gerookte en gebrande mouten. Een donker bier om rustig voor te gaan zitten en lekker van te genieten.

Ok beer, smokyness comes through nicely. Minimal head, foam is sticky though. Taste is sweet with a lingering sweet and bittery finish. Quite a lot of carbonation, too much in my opinion. Also misses complexity.

Drank with @Patrick, also with Rik 01-04-17. Good beer! Soft, comprehensive and rich. Not too smoked. Balanced.

Bottle, BB 03.2018, ABV 6.3% (from hetbiermoment). Pours dark brown-black with light brown head. The head stays for a long time. Aroma is cough syrup, smoke, bacon, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, smoke, malt, bacon, chocolate, slight booze. Finish is sweet and bitter, some nice chocolate, some woody dryness, some sugar. Feels really smooth in the mouth. Overall: very good.

Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. In the aroma smoke, smoked ham. The clear brown beer has a small off white head. In the taste smoked ham. Medium carbonated.

Heel donkerbruin, mooie kraag die inzakt tot een randje. Geur van rook en gebrande mout, koffie, chocolade. Smaakt op een wonderlijke manier fris, gebrande mout, koffie, chocolade. Bitterzoet, geslaagd bier.

Many thanks to RW80 for this beer! Smoke and malt in the nose. The beer starts fresh and round, intense with roasted hints and caramel, not too much bitterness. The smoke is subtle and round, the chocolate malts are there and fit in well, moderate bitter in the end. Nice smoked Porter - how it should be!

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, chocolate, roasted malts and smoke.

Appearance:
Opaque dark brown/black beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium beige/brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and smoke.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The slight smoke really complements the otherwise sweet flavour, making it more complex. A perfectly balanced Porter where the smoke luckily does not dominate at all.

Bottle from the Daily Pint. Dark brown body with mocha head Nose is caramel, malty, toasty, smoky. Taste of malts, roasty, ashy, some sweet notes of caramel and cookies. More bitter in the finish. Pretty good.

Huge, dense yellow-cream head, slowly retreating over ruby-shot black beer. Intense smoked nose, with smoked ham, tarred poles, salty peanuts but also chocolate; turffire and hard plastic. Sweet-smoked. Roasted nuts, roasted bread; turf, smoked meat in the finish. Well-carbonated, spritzy feel, yet slick to viscous. Medium bodied at least. Jongens, let your beers be brewed in Holland. Wallonia definitely doesnt suit you. This one is sweet, but good!

Bottle 33cl, a dark beer with low copper head. Nose is on dry dark coffee, vegetal and smoked touch. Taste is dry, some bitterness, aroma is dark coffee, still smoked notes but not that dominant, near to a dry stout. Expected something more robust.
