COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Water, Tarwemout, Gerstemout, Hop (El Dorado), Gist

0,33 l bottle from Mitra Groningen Vismarkt. Murky pale golden in the glass, small white head. Surprisingly like belgian yeast on the nose. Taste is something between belgian ale and a german Hefeweizen. Sweet and citrus fruity background, some flavour hop. Not what expected but something to taste and think about it.

Bottle from Biernavigatie as ’Weizen from the bottle’. Orange colour, white foam. Fruity with notes of pineapple. Sweet and tart. Spicy. Unbalanced. Not my favourite.

(Bax Bier Weizen from The Bottle) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a weizen glass, ABV 4.4% Deep orange and cloudy body, with huge head initially. Eventually it collapses to something more than two fingers of white thick foam, with average retention. Aroma of wheat, banana, bread. Taste has wheat, light banana, pears, metallic flavours, light clove. Medium body, good amount of carbonation. Good.

Benzai (16099) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 9, 2015
Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden color, full sized white head. Smell and taste wheat, sweetish, slightly hayish, lightly metallic but in the distance also a yeasty fruit hint. Don’t get anything else, though I must admit I poured it too cold. Average body and carbonation.

ShivanDragon (4297) - Leeuwarden, NETHERLANDS - JUL 30, 2015
