COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

MelvinKalksma (1630) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 31, 2017

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, bread and hops.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque orange/dark brown beer with slight yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread and hops.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. A lot of malts are present in this beer, both noticeable in the appearance and flavour. The aroma somehow manages to be really dull. Good beer overall, but rather odd for its style.

Bottle thanks to Mrk. Gusherrrrr! Clear amber with off white head. Caramel, dried goat droppings, cow piss. Strong barn and animal notes but definately not in a good way. Some hops and grass too. Something went wrong here I guess. Some nice malts but I can’t get past the animal poop.
