From the can, it was poured into a pint glass. It had a hazy golden, yet slightly orange body. The white head forms and fades within seconds. The lacing is ringy. The smell is grainy, slightly corn but sweet fruits and light hops. The taste has the grain again, however, I do notice some breadiness. Once again the fruit comes back with the hops. The palate has a light body with a high carbonation that is smooth. It finishes with a slight bitterness. Overall, this is good for me and the style

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Janes Beer & Wine. Appearance is clear, golden yellow, nice sparkle and finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is light citrus and fruity hops over cracker malt base. Taste is mild citrus, fruit, resin with bitter dominance over light cracker malts. Palate is medium bodied with slick texture, lively carbonation and bitter finish. Overall, a decent look and cool lore--the pamola being the mythical creature inhabiting Mt. Kitahdin, but aroma and taste are pretty mild and the beer is overly bitter for me. Much better session IPAs out there.

Can. Pours something. Smells like something. Tastes like a pale ale. Good piney hop flavors on the finish. A cut above mediocrity.

12 oz can. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and some fruit. Body is medium and crisp. Herbal hops dominate the palate while bready malt and ripe fruit provide support. Finish is long and very bitter. Nice, hoppy brew.
