Sampler at brewery. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Has some solid floral notes on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Solid. ganache (6089) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 15, 2017
Nice sampler box of cans from Canal's. Nose pith and orange peel, bit of resin and grit. Pour clear, slightly dull orange with a soapy and vanishing off-white head. Taste lightly bitter, dry, very oily, lots of citrus skin and a little resin, orange peel, grapefruit sweat, citrus oils just leaching out. Cleansing and slightly soapy, bitterness increases slightly with volume and picks up a touch of astringency, alcohol stronger than it should be at 4.9%. Above-average carbonation but the overall effect is soft, clean; medium body full, flavorful, repeatable. Very good in its class. Clear golden amber. Light hopping is floral and grassy in the nose, with a little citrus coming into play on the palate. Balanced...kinda average. GIJOE (1258) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - JAN 3, 2017
12 oz. can. Pours a clear amber. Frothy white head with moderate lacing. Nose is caramel candy, malt and bread. Medium body with lively carbonation. Refreshing brew. jgb9348 (6592) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 17, 2016
Clear golden and light copper coloured body with a small, but noticeable two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and herbal hops, light malt, a touch of sugars and some very mild earthy notes. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and perfumey hop flavour at first with a touch of alpha acids and bitterness with a very mild malt note of biscuits and ending with a little sweetness from honey and the grass flavours. Aftertaste is very mellow and unassuming with the honey sweetness and perfumey and slightly herbal hops making this very easy to drink and super mild - it tastes less than 4,9% abv, for sure. Overall, a nice Light IPA with some nice but mild flavours and a lot of grassy and sweetness from honey at the tail end. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Hannaford in South Portland, Maine on 28-July-2016 for US$2,29 sampled at home in Washington on 16-December-2016.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer & Wine. Appearance is clear, golden yellow, nice sparkle and finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is light citrus and fruity hops over cracker malt base. Taste is mild citrus, fruit, resin with bitter dominance over light cracker malts. Palate is medium bodied with slick texture, lively carbonation and bitter finish. Overall, a decent look and cool lore--the pamola being the mythical creature inhabiting Mt. Kitahdin, but aroma and taste are pretty mild and the beer is overly bitter for me. Much better session IPA’s out there. kerenmk (5358) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 22, 2016
