A heavily-hopped, West Coast-style IPA. Bold, complex flavors with a solid malt backbone and assertive hop profile, along with cold conditioning give this beer its crisp, clean finish.

Can at hotel room tasting. Clear amber pour with thin lacy white head. Aroma is really leafy, grassy hop, light grapefruit, light cedar, woody. Taste is bitter, leafy, soapy, light caramel. Palate is med bodied, good carbonation. Pretty standard.

Good IPA. A good crisp IPA from the can with a clean finish. Taste the hops and enjoy.

Middling marks all the way through for this brew. Nothing stands out but nothing brings it down either.

Can in Seattle. A nice treat. Sweet grapefruit, plenty of juicy hops up front. Medium grainy hop body. Definitely a West Coast attempt, and it works pretty well. Sweet, clean, dry-bitter towards finish. Easy, tasty bitter drinker.

Draught @ Ginger Man. Clear amber color with medium sized off white foamy head, faint hops aroma, well-balanced sweetish hoppy taste, full body, low carbonation, medium finish. Quite a smooth IPA.

Can. Orange pour with a medium fizzy off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, earthy and pine hops. Medium body with a snappy peppery finish.

Brew pours orange and hazy into a tulip, the scent sharp in my nostrils without being aromatic. The head is off-white, soft, and dense; thick, but releases quickly. I tip the glass and find a bitter, mostly flavorless liquid, the taste standing up strong, but the aroma backing the flavor. Not much there but bitter, malts not strong enough to stand up to the bite. Some citrus coming through as it warms, but again, not much there. The texture of the brew is sticky, the buzz is just right for the style, but with nothing to carry, the carbonation and other aspects of the palate just seem pointless. I’d like to blame all this on freshness, but this is only a couple of months off the date. On the other hand, that head is still going strong, thick and white, lacing up the glass like it’s nobody’s business. If only I was in it for the head.

Variety pack: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, and resin. Taste is sweet, then bitter and citrusy. Finish is bitter too and goes into a hoppy aftertaste. Not extreme, but packs some punch. Good.

Bebum (1084) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Cloudy, medium amber, little lace. Full body, intense flavor, rich, spritzy mouthfeel, well balanced, long palate, tasty finish. Very bitter but well balanced by the malt. Very hoppy, herby, floral, resiny. Big, intense and delicious beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a totally opaque pukey orange brown, lots of floating sediment, bug bubbly white head. Aroma is earth, must, floral hop, moldy citrus. Flavor is light sweet, moldy orange, earthy mineral hop finish.
