Draft at the Salt House in Galway with Linh. Pours a clear amber body with thin white head that turns to lacing. Aroma is sweet lagery malts, fruit and bread. Mouthfeel is thin with some carbonation and flavors of bready malts, light fruit, and dry lager notes in the finish. A decent blond lager. Copper colour with reddish accents. Herbal - slightly mushroomy character. There isn’t much else to this - it’s functional but you won’t remember it. garthicus (2929) - Dublin, IRELAND - JAN 31, 2011
Bay Brewery Lager
On tap at Salthouse.
Appearance: deep ruby red with a thick off white head. Aroma: Bran, lemon, wheat with a good amount of grass. Flavour: malty at first moving swiftly to a crisp, sweet flavour which has hints of grass, lemon and herbs in the finish. Nice.
