3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to kappldav123 for this hard-to-get-in-germany bottle. Pale yellow and unclear in the glass, small fine white head. Sour citrus fruity on the nose. Starts sweetsour and fresh, low flat bitterness. Thinner ending. Not bad for that kind of beer.
A really tasty berliner weisse. Deceptively tart considering its smoothness and overall balance. Pours golden and bright. HippieFee (446) - - JUN 29, 2017
Draft - Very light and refreshing beer. Not a very tart beer but well balanced with crisp and tart and a simple clean flavor. Fruit. Pear. White grape. fombe89 (3427) - Asturias, SPAIN - MAR 31, 2017

On tap at BBF. Clear golden colour with white head. Wheat and citric aroma. Citric, acidic, tart and apple taste. Light to medium body. Grumbo (2941) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2017
Bottle from trade with Gabriel. Pours pale gold with a short lasting white head. Aroma of corn starch, caramel, citrus, wheat and lemon juice acidity. Moderate sweetness, medium sour. Light body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish balances the bitter sweet and tartness well.

11.2 oz bottle pours a hazy pale yellow with a tiny white head that vanishes quickly without any lacing. Aroma is full of vinegar and lemon, soap, and wheat. Taste is sour, but it grows on you. Suprisingly, the finish is sweet and fruity. Body is light with good carbonation. Very drinkable and a bit of a surprise. jh773 (303) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 1, 2017
Pale banana-wheat yellow with no head and little visible carbonation. Smell is thick, quite boozy, a little funky. Barn and vinegar flavors are quite prominent. Tart juicy finish. It’s ok. N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - SEP 29, 2016
Drank from a pint glass, poured from a twelve ounce bottle, thank you Bjorn. I dunno, I found this beer to fall flat, just wasn’t much going on with it. Zlotta (3271) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - SEP 11, 2016
0.33 l bottle from ’Dranken Geers’, no bb date. Very pale yellow with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of lemon peel, gooseberry, rhubarb and wheat. Moderately sour, quite fruity taste of lemon peel, rhubarb, gooseberry and wheat, followed by a short, moderately tart, quite dry finish. Thin body, moderately astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Not too sour, enough taste for that abv (although very simple), quite refreshing. Still a bit bland, just average for the style. 77ships (9776) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2016
330 ml. bottle. No BBF. Extremely pale citrus beer, looks a bit like a cheap macro cider, head is instantly gone,… Nose is heavy rotting lemon, rotting soapy wheat, spoiled, sour, too much,… Taste on the other hand is strangely palatable, briefly fizzy, sour soap, bit watery, strongly mineral oddly, coriander, lemon juice, lingering sour lemon soap mineral finish, bit salty,… Watery, massively chugable, crazily so,… Nose is a bit off-putting,… Taste isn’t optimal but it is crazily drinkable,…. Very refreshing actually, massively drinkable,… Not really a beer geek beer, it isn’t the base tasting but its got massive drinkability, its refreshing,… Quite different from the common everyday slur of USA styled Berliners. Interesting beer, I dig it oddly despite the watery lemon, sour, overly mineral & almost vegetable aftertaste, strangely lightly salty,… Strange stuff. I guess drinkability really counts for something,…
