COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This original Leipzig beer specialty lends us the name for our brewery. Gose is a regional beer specialty that was brought to Saxony-Anhalt in the year 1738. Originally Gose comes from Goslar, a small town in Lower Saxony, and the river “Gose” in this town. This beer specialty has a refreshing, slightly sour taste and is ideal for quenching your thirst. Gose is brewed with the additional ingredients lactic acid, cilantro, and salt. Gose is a top-fermented beer with 4,5 Vol. % alcohol and 10,8 % wort. You can enjoy it in different variations.

Sampled from tap at FdB Köln 2017. Hazy, straw yellow with a white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, a bit fruity and slightly spicy aroma of lemon, rhubarb and some coriander. Sweetish, slightly sour, moderately fruity and slightly spicy taste of lemon, wheat, rhubarb and coriander, followed by a short, slightly tart, moderately minerally-salty and a bit spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent and a bit astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Interesting to have a true German gose. Very little sour or salt on the tongue. Very light salt on the tongue. Very refreshing. Taste has very light sour. Thin to no head. Light sweetness sweet then sour then salty and all is subtle. This is the gose I want to make at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
