Light pale that goes down easy. Not over the top hoppy or in the flavor department. Average pour & mouthfeel. Nothing to write home about but just a beer I haven’t seen before.

355 ml bottle from SAQ, served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear orange-copper with a fairly tight, light tan froth. Aroma: Bright citrus with a lightly resinous and peppery side, moderate bread/bread crust maltiness, a touch metallic, the peppery quality comes out as it warms, as does a sweeter maltiness. Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Flav.: Citrus, peppery, dusty, mildly resinous, restrained melanoidin and sweet-ish malt character, lots of the spiciness; dry with moderate+ bitterness and a rich maltiness that comes out ahead of the hops.

Not too bad. Not entirely for me.

355 ml bottle bought at the SAQ in Marché Jean-Talon (Montreal) on Octobre 16, 2015. Hazy copper, small head. Typical pale malt aroma, light fruitiness. The taste is about the same, light spicy fruit notes, green herb bitterness. Fairly drinkable!

Bouteille 355ml..

This is a good hot day pale ale. I had this one in New Orleans so it was well fitting for the day. Light and clean, refreshing, very smooth. These go down quick.

Bottle from SAQ. Hazy amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is funky, light grape, vegetal notes, decaying grass clippings kind of vegetal grassy notes, toasted malt notes. Taste is semi sweet, light hoppy flavor, caramel, long lingering vegetal and mineral flavor, some iron, earthy finish. Palate is med bodied, med carbonation. Bleh.
