Very unique. Suuuper smokey. A little bit hammy. Nola Classic? Read the Manuel burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - JAN 2, 2015
Poured an amber color with aromas of light yeast, some light ash, a touch of wheat and some light grass. Flavors matched the aromas not overly smoked but enough there that says hello. Decent overall but smoked beers are not my style, this was tolerable for me. Ron (3963) - Rochester, New York, USA - DEC 17, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear red tinted ale with a small fizzy off white head, short retention with no lace. Aroma is light smoke, pear, wheat malt and light earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light smoke, fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 24, 2014

Bottle from Brewtopia. Amber not quite cloudy with lasting fluffy head and lace. Smoky tangy grassy yeasty aroma with hints of caramel and fruit. Medium tangy fruity sweetness with woody smoky mildly herbal clean finish. Light and lively body. Some lingering tang and smoke. Could be wheatier I think but an excellent effort at an esoteric style. Delicious.

Rich ruby-tinted caramel coloured body with a very thin, just oily tan head atop the beer. Aroma of smoked malt, rich bacon, earth, caramel and figs - deeply smoked with a pungent meat and mushroom kick. Medium-bodied; Deeply earthy and very meaty smoked flavour with bacon, pork, caramel and especially cereal and grain flavours throughout. Aftertaste has that very cereal and grain flavour coupled with some bacon and smoked meat flavour with hints of sweetness and earth rounding out the flavours - interesting for sure and not necessarily great, but flavourful. Overall, a decent smoked beer with a very earthy and meaty flavour and a rich finish. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 01-November-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 20-May-2014. Bottle - Bacony smoke and a yeasty sweetness. Clear caramel with almost no head. Bacon, light sweetness and a long finish. More like a smoked ale vs. wheat. drowland (8765) - Georgia, USA - MAY 8, 2014
3/8/14. Clear amber pour with a small khaki head that fades to a ring. Mild smokey aroma, malty, bits of caramel, campfire. Lightly sweet flavor, soft wheat, mildly smokey, but not in a bacon way. Not bad, actually. 1guywith_aboat (254) - phenix city, Alabama, USA - MAY 1, 2014
Very interesting first of all. Had a sample at B-Dubs in Meridian, Mississippi. Aroma of whiskey, smoke, malt. Flavor is alcohol, egg?, smokey malt. Complex. Light body. Really odd but good. jezmez68 (404) - Chesterton, Indiana, USA - MAR 29, 2014
A very interesting beer. I’ve had this on two occasions. People either love smoked beers or veer away from them. They are beginning to grow on me. When I first sipped this, I was unsure, but then as I drank more of it, I really started to appreciate it. Nice to have every once in a while. Good in a rotation of beers you keep around.
