2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reddish amber, almost copper, color, with a white head, quite shortlasting. The aroma is inclined to malts and yeast, no trace of hops: bread, grain and yeast. The mouthfeel is basically sweet and light, to caramel, brown sugar and a hint of toffee which are attenuated by some metallic touch and a very discrete bitterness. Watery texture, medium carbonated and medium to low bodied, is nice and refreshing, but not a great beer. The best is its drinkability; the drawback is its lack of character.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 11C. Pale amber with a puffy white head that laces very well. Aroma is bready with some toasted nuts, grass. Creamy, low carbonation. Fairly sweet, bready yeast. A little hint of sherry. Gentle bitterness. Dries out agreeably at the end with some mild spices. Enveloping, hooverable. In pretty good nick for this sort of thing considering the journey.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Considering this is a lager, the beer has actually quite a lot of taste. It has some modest notes of hops and grass.
