DraftDodger (1268) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2016
Copenhagen 23/12 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Some German landscape drawing and some Royal Heraldic stuff to get me in the mood on the label. Some admonitions about the "Bayerischen Reinheitsgebot" in addition to this. Pours clear pale yellow with big white head. Lively carbonation. Moderate lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is not particularly strong. Malty sweet with metallic notes (not the boozy kind). Soft carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet balanced quite well by moderate bitterness. Lightly bitter aftertaste. Quite standard German Hell - but an quite decent "standard".

Cristobal37 (904) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 26, 2016
On tap at small beer fest in Budapest. A really nice helles. Traditional fizzy yellow appearance. Sweet corn flakes, honey, wheat. Slow light palate with a touch of bitterness occasionally. I like these sweeter light helles beers for nights when you just want to sip on something easy. This one is good for that.

Lore (2433) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 25, 2016
crystal clear golden colour, moderate sized dense white head, which disappears almost fully within a few minutes; aroma and taste of grains, grass, some herbal and hay notes; a beer without any error and, at the same time, without any fantasy...

eunck (179) - Hamburg, Hamburg, GERMANY - OCT 12, 2016
Starts out as a very regular light beer with mostly grainy malt aroma and an above average sweet component, which I find quite pleasant. However after a few sips it started tasting quite sour, which kind of killed the positive experience.
