Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton, 17/11/12...The Boro having just dismantled Stockport County. Lightly fogged gold with intricate lace. Good juicy apricot and herb aroma. Decent apricot, grass, herb, slight earth and orange notes. Dull but pretty sweet under the circumstances.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.
Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malty, borring ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
[500ml bottle, gift from Mum & Dad - cheers!] Golden-amber with a thin white head and a moderate fizz. Looks very thin on pouring but actually has a reasonable mouthfeel. Aroma of sweet malt, and sweetness is the main initial taste. However, some grassy hops kick in, then some ginger, and a drying straw bitterness in the finish is just about enough to offset the sweetness. OK overall. On tap @ the Tankerville Arms, Longden, Shropshire. Pours a cloudy dark-honey colour with some head. The nose has gente malt and a wild honey sweetness. The taste has honey, sultanas, then apples. The palate is medium to large in structure, rich in texture and there is a sweet though elegant finish. Overall, I like this, it works! FatPhil (15975) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 19, 2011

Sweet malty everything - all the way from the aroma to the finish. Dull, but very grainy, lots of malt and bread in the finish.
Deep golden/amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma ias fruity, earthy, spicy and caramelly. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance. Also some slight toffeeish notes in the flavour.
