tap/brewery. Poured clear, medium amber, lasting white head. Aroma of grainy malt. Light-medium body, average carbonation, has a tart sourish almost home brewy finish. Honey sweetness, malty with floral hops. I’d say it was an ale if I didn’t know better. shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 5, 2014
437 mL can. Pale straw with a white head of foam. Grainy malt with some light floral/citrus hops. Crisp, dry, light bodied and moderately carbonated. Simple and refreshing, but doesn’t come off cheap tasting. A different approach on pale lager. gilvanblight (826) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2013
Very hoppy foamy head. Strong hoppy grassy scent. They called this their flagship. It’s very mellow. Easy to drink. Low carbonation than the head would indicate. Slight bitterness in the finish. Good but it’s yet another lager. Digital_Aura (228) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2014 Fresh from growler (from today’s keg). Pours a deep gold yellow with no head. Slight bubbly action in glass despite this - a faint meniscus lacing. No aroma. Taste is initially honeydew sweet!! Nice light body. Watery palate - not enough carbonation. Almost dead flat. I buy this by the growler - it’s a good house beer. Goes down easy and is awesome on a hot day! JoeMcPhee (9454) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2013
Pour at the Ontario Brewing Awards. Pale golden pour. The aroma is of pale malt. A bit of fusel aroma and some dirty malt liquor character. Seems fermented a bit too warm and not lagered appropriately.
