Smells malty, grainy. A bit of alcohol and sweet malt sugar. Peppery hops. Flavor is sweet throughout -- red apple, baked bread, a hint of oak, gassy peppery hop finish. Fairly sweet.

Amber eilas iš Golano aukštumų Izraelyje. Ne stebūklas bet ir ne britkus. Manau kad ten per karščius gert - pats tas. 19,5 balo.

rayaron (2074) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - OCT 3, 2014
Draught at Cafe Hamidrachov, Kfar Saba. Hazy amber-orange with low off-white head. Sweetish fruity (orange, peach) aroma, yeasty, malty, spicy, a hint of date honey. Fruity flavor, spicy, a bit metallic, cooked vegetables notes. Moderate carbonation. Light to medium body.

A bit strong on the alcohol for Amber, color is more orange than Amber, foam head weak, taste is good not very malty, hops are light on their affect

Hmm this does not strike me as an average red/amber ale in most respects, and not for the better. Aroma is fresh caramel malt, some earthiness. Color is an odd hazy amber brown, honestly looks kinda foul to me. Taste is decent caramel malt and with dark fruit yeasty notes, although the finish has a boozy alcohol bite to it. Apparently this one is 6.4% abv, strong for an amber ale I think. Faintly reminiscent of a doppelbock actually. Thin mouthfeel. Finish really sticks around. Decent but disappointing.

Bottle. Pours dark golden, hazy, small head. Weak aroma of molded cheese, yeast, spices, sweet & sour fruits. Taste: floral, grass, caramel, sour fruits, hint of spices. Interesting.
