First beer of the BeerandBlues2 pub crawl, while waiting for Brad to arrive. Cloudy golden color, large white head. Aroma of fresh pine. Taste is bitter resin, some fruit, mostly pine. Decent. Drake (14061) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Sampled on draft at the brewery on 7/15/11. Pours a hazy amber color with a large creamy tan head. Aroma of earthy notes and herbal hops. The taste is caramel and earthy hops. A bit of a lingering hop burn. Medium bodied. BeerandBlues2 (13706) - Escondido, California, USA - OCT 23, 2011
Tap at VA Beach Craft Beer Festival. Pours hazy orange/copper with a large, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy, dank hops, fruity esters, grapefruit, passion fruit and cookie malt. Flavor is malty with medium hops and bitterness, fruity esters, earthy, and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation. Sammy (12616) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 19, 2012
A good head but a light looking body. Decent bitterness, I’m guessing 60 IBU,however a bit on the light side in mouthfeel. C-hop aroma certainly there. The malting does not do it justice in terms of bringing out the flavour. .radek’s bottle from his most recent trip down to the brewpub. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 23, 2012
22oz bottle-pours amber with a rich offwhite head that dissipates. Aroma is pine/resin, some light malt. Taste is drying pine/resin hops with some bite, some light malt with a bit of sweet.

Draft. Orange and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet orange caramel malt and moderately bitter orange peel hops flavor. Really like a malty IPA - probably in the minority. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 13, 2012
651mL thanks to Travlr. Hazy orange pour with a diminishing white head. Little lace. Nose is heavy onion with root vegetables and sour tea. Really funky. Very strange. Taste is quite sappy and bitter with pine bark. Palate is full bitter. Not so bad.

Tap. Pours pale amber/orange, slightly hazy, with a medium off-white head, decent staying power and good lacing. Aroma is dominated by grapefruit, with some grassiness. Taste is grassy, citrus, with some malt body and a bitter dry finish. Crisp and medium to full bodied. Seemed like a good offering to me. Aroma: straight clean hop character. Proper well balanced with malty notes. 7+.
Appearance: amber with medium plus top.3+
Palate / Taste: clean medium bodied bitter ale. Straightforward IPA , none of harshness , drinkable bitter approach. Very drinkable.
Bottle. This pours a rusty orange, slightly cloudy, with a big head of white foam. The initial aroma is spicy, with a coriander-like kick. No surprise then that this carries to the tongue, drinking like a Belgian farmhouse beer more than an American IPA. Enjoyable though ... (#4519, 3/9/2012)
