Got hops? This vicious IPA does, boasting powerful hop flavor and aroma. Out Hammerhead combines a carefully selected malt base. three varieties of boil hops, and a generous dry-hop to form an India Pale Ale with exceptional balance.

This is a really good local ipa for me. Got this on draft and put in a grenade growler. Huge citrus and mango on the aroma. Really citrus forward. Taste is bitter with tons of grapefruit and pine. Dry finish that leaves you or at least me wanting more. I’m really digging this one, and I love getting to support local breweries especially when they make delicious ipa’s like this. Cheers!

Draft at hopsoddy in scottsdale, very 2008. High bitter, rough sweet malt bill. In your face and low drinkability

Excellent aroma of grapefruit and dried fruit, nice amber color with a good head. Terrible chalky taste, with a metallic watery palate.

Growler courtesy of dkachur at the 15th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering on 07/16/2011. Clear golden amber body with a small frothy off-white head. Sweet nutty and malty aroma. Dry nutty flavor with some floral notes. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

January 2011. I’ve sampled this one on tap at the brewery as well as from the bottle. Amber color with a nice white head. Nice hop balance, citrus and floral aromas. Dry finish that last for a bit. Not bad at all.

Hammerhead IPA is very quaffable. This is a very hoppy beer and the addition of hops in the dry hopping stage is noticeable. ---Rated by E. Rhodes via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From notes at sours tasting. Slightly cloudy light amber with slight head and some lace. Nice piney resin aroma. Sweet flavour of orange zest bitter.

On tap. Hazy copper pour with a thick off white head. Scent is citrus, earthy and musty. Taste is caramel, earthy, citrus with a bitter finish.

Draft. Orange and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet orange caramel malt and moderately bitter orange peel hops flavor. Really like a malty IPA - probably in the minority.

Pours a hazy golden with a nice foamy white head and some lace. Aroma is of, of all things, manure, urine, pine hops, some citrus. Really musky. Nice flavor, however, mostly pine and citrus hops.
