Had on a hot summer day at the ballpark...just about the only way I’d have this again. Just a boring beer. KyotoLefty (10207) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 7, 2011
Draught at MacGregors. Had no idea that this was from AB, but it makes sense. Clear gold with a low head. Malty aroma of buttered peaches. Fruity, buttery sweet malt flavor with honey and a slight tart edge. Lightly bitter finish. Very fruity and quite sweet. Not very interesting. brokensail (16440) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
A: The beer pours a golden straw color with a small and short lived white head.
S: Matching the appearance of the beer, this one smells strongly of straw. There is a light bread not as well as a healthy dose of corn. Mild yeast and some light, fruity esters.
T: The flavor offers up some pale malts to go along with the straw and grass. There is a light hop bitterness to it. Some apple and corn give it more sweetness.
M: Light in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Surfs up, brah. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 18, 2011

Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, nectar, wood and mild honey as well as some mild hoppyness. Flavour is sweet malts, mild hops and some grassyness. Yet a slight swill feeling to it.
This was sampled from the tap at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis, Missouri. Beach Bum Blonde Ale has a thick, creamy, off-white head and a bright, hazy yellow-orange color. Lots of lacing is left behind. The aroma is of citrus and hops, with lightly toasted malts as well. The taste is a delicious mix of malt breadiness and strong citrus, making one almost think it was flavored with juice, which it is not. Floral hoppiness is a pleasant note here at the end of the sip. The mouthfeel is light to medium, and Beach Bum finishes refreshing, crisp, and dry. Overall, this is a very enjoyable beer, and I hope to have it again.

On tap at Budweiser with Andrew and Carla. Pours a very light hazy yellow with white foam. Smells light and crisp. Tastes light, crisp and is more bitter than expected. oobawa (1317) - Tennessee, USA - MAY 10, 2011
Amazing how, with such a big, complicated description, what you get is a bottle of truly shit beer. All of these flavors may or may not appear, because mainly Beach Bum is a fizzy-yet-watery Michelob brewed with ale yeast. I personally think A-B missed out on a very lucrative advertising niche: Beach Bum, the Seasonal Beer of Assholes. Kinda catchy, I think. Golden pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is very light and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness that over powers the hops. Smooth malty flavor with a light hop bitterness at the end. Middle is smooth and sweet. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and lasts for a while. Not a bad brew at all. dfinney23 (3255) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 25, 2011
Not much in the taste and aroma departments but it’s better than I expected in the "light and refreshing" category. I wouldn’t turn it down if somebody handed me one on the beach. wlajwl (6750) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 2, 2011
Decent mild fruitiness and a little graininess to it. Good blonde ale, surprised its made by In-Bev AB.
