COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beach Bum is an all-malt American blonde ale, which draws its deep golden color from the finest pale and caramel roasted barley malts. This beer is dry hopped with the choicest imported Alsace and Hallertau hops as well as Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest, which lend to its pleasant hop aroma and its slightly spicy and fruity taste.

SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 5, 2006
On tap at Jazz in Omaha. Cute tap handle of a buxom lass holding a surfboard. Pours piss gold with a large fizzy fluorescent white head. Carbonation bubbles are so large that the beer resembles a cream soda more than beer. Aroma is close to a perfumed soap than beer. Body is unremarkably watery and weak. Finishes with a mild bitter hoppiness and odd chemical taste.

On tap. A hair better than Budweiser. The lemon helped tremendously with the flavor. No head. Urine-colored and just as clear. Not refreshing and not enjoyable. Another typical Americna macrobrew made for those with little taste.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2007 Im a big fan of this! I got a promo bottle of this from my friend that works for Bud, and boy is this stuff tasty. Also available on tap at some of the Old Chicagos up here. A perfect summer beer for those hot summer days. Not to hoppy, and not to sweet, its a happy medium of taste!

GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAY 27, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 28, 2006 Draught at Taste of Durham. Clear golden color with bubbly white head that dissipated quickly. Cereal grain aroma and flavor with a touch of sprucy hops. Dry with a light, crisp finish.
