We wouldn’t be properly representing our hometown if we didn’t pay homage to the Surf Culture.

Hang Five IPA walks the nose with a blend of American hops. Layered bitterness dominates the bright straw body with a crisp dry finish that doesn’t linger for long.

A great introductory India Pale Ale for newcomers to the craft scene and those looking for a hoppy 7% punch.

Hops: Magnum, Falconer’s Flight, Centennial, HBC342

Pours a nice golden color with small white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, pine and grass. Flavor matches aroma with the addition of a very light caramel flavor.

Draft at the brewery The IPA poured a light amber with and off white head and lacing. This is a mild IPA with some resin and citrus on the nose and taste. There is nice orange flavor from the hops. The ale has a medium body with soft carbonation. The finish is clean with orange flavors in the upper mouth.

Not sure what the other guys were drinking. This is an excellent IPA for those of us on the citrus/pine side of the spectrum with plenty of hops to keep the grape fruit in check. Too bad their double was already sold out, maybe next time..

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Lemony citric hops, mild tropical notes, and moderate bitterness. Pretty good.

Clear golden color with off white foam. Nice spicy, fresh ganja bud, tropical fruit aromas. Medium mouthfeel. Dusty pale malt base brew with spicy bitterness, and lightly sweet tropical fruits---drying finish_____good

brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 13, 2014
On tap @ Beach City Brewing. Clear bright orange pour with a white head. Nose is overly grassy. Somewhat soapy and papery, too. Popcorn, bread, and a fair amount of caramel. Light orange peel. Flavor is lightly bitter, but mostly sweet caramel. Lots of straw, grass, and a touch of soap. Light bread and pine. Meh.
