500 pounds of malted barley and 500 pounds of Brazillian honey gives this Braggot Style IPA huge, complex flavors and generous hop additions backed up that sweetness with just enough of a bitter bite. Braggot, traditionally a blend of Ale and Mead, is a thousand year old beverage even mentioned by Chaucer in ‘Canterbury Tales.’

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2014 Pours a nice clear light honey color with a small 1 finger head. Aroma of honey, citrus and some hops. Flavor matches aroma, nice sweet citrus front with a bit of pine and bitterness flavor towards the end.
