3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Stone Collaboration with Beachwood and Heretic, this DIPA uses new his varietals, Azacca, Belma, and HBC 342. A floral nose leads to a crystal clear IPA with a 1 inch frothy head. A balanced bitterness mingles with an original fruity flavor similar to citrus zest. Overall, solid, but not overly memorable.
Tap @CBH17. Pours hazy golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma has citrus and sweet fruits. Taste has citrus and mango. Pretty nice. zaclogan (19) - - MAY 31, 2017
A beautiful pale orange IPA. Bursts with hop aromas of big tropical fruit, stone fruits and a blend of pine, citrus and a hint of weed. The flavor profile puts hops in the forefront without the need for a huge amount of bitterness. This is a great example of a modern IPA. mmargarucci (343) - Basel, SWITZERLAND - JAN 6, 2017
Pours a nice pale color little or no head. Aroma is filled pine and some hidden tropical fruit. Taste has a nice malt profile but still hop forward. Strong pine at start which dissolves to lychee and tropical fruit. 8.8 abv is dangerously well hidden. Not as sweet as your typical double IPA. Excellent. markas101 (2534) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 4, 2017

Draft pint at Roundhouse Wanchai. Sweet citrus on the nose. Beautiful light amber, quickly dissipating head that clings to the glass. Citrus, sativa, lychee. Sweet and sour goodness.

On tap at Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, citrus, marmalade, stewed fruits (less fragrant than the Fieldwork Swash IPA I’m drinking). Taste is big hops and big malts that meld together so well and that you’d expect from Stone. A citrus bouillon, marmalade, fruit stew. A great beer from Stone...although nothing that unique or new, probably something a little more nuanced from them. jookos (7160) - FINLAND - OCT 31, 2016

light amber clear. Peachy sweet fruity nose, malty caramels, butterscotch. Med bodied, good bitters, citrus, some grapefruits. Bitter finish. Ok, stone- like ipa.

Pours amber with a large head.
Nose shows lychee and floral hops, melon, pear and clean malt.
Flavours include heavy melon, honey, spicy hops, pine, resinous notes and heavy sweet clean malt. mjs (7778) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 28, 2016
(Keg at OlutExpo 2016) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good one-dimensional hoppy brew.
