I had this on tap at Beachwood BBQ in Long Beach and I think that this beer is very well-crafted. This clear copperish pour has a nice malty flavor with hints of spice. For once, a winter warmer that isn’t a spice bomb. This was really well made.

Pour on tap at the brewery, reddish pour with thin white head, aroma brought weird notes of booze, sugars, almost almond like notes with a hint of caramel, toffee, slight soy sauce, odd. Clear copper color with ivory sheen. Caramel, holiday spice, light fruit aromas. Medium body. Holiday spice, caramel, toffee sweet spicy flavors----not bad.

Tap at Beachwood thanks to DedicatedToFun. Pours a clear, red amber. Minimal foam. Nose is at first some odd funk and Brett which was confusing so I let it sit some more. Moved to something odd like DMS and something even savory like beef aus jus and Worcestershire sauce. Also orange marmalade on top of that beef. Strange. Tap. Pours clear tawny with a medium, frothy light tan head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is cinnamon, clove, cookie and caramel malt with dates and vanilla, light earthy hops. Flavor is malt forward with medium spices, dark fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.
