COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fruited Lambic-Inspired Ale

The second iteration of the Eugene series. One year old barrels we’re chosen a few months ago and aged for 8 weeks on apricots. We then chose the best barrels, blended them together, and bottle conditioned with wine yeast for over 3 months. The result is a beer exploding with aromas of dried apricots backed up by our house funk. Pleasantly acidic with a clean fruity finish, it is an exciting addition to our line up of fruited beers.

Bottle pours out peach color topped with a fizzy white head. Nose is nice big peach apricot notes some sweet and tart. Tatse is more of the nice stone fruit apricot forward more then peach but very nice sweet and pucker tartness.

Corked bottle from Belmont Station. Awesome to see these guys showing up at least somewhat close by. A drive to Portland. Worth it! Pours a cloudy lemon yellow color. Very tart impression from the aroma, and from a distance. Enough to start drying the eyes. Amazing, despite the indicated dangers. Intense sour, and it probably couldn't be better executed. The apricot is a huge pucker, but it has a juicy side, and flirts with a sweet side as well. Slight funk. Some quiet wine notes. Some wood, but buried in sour greatness. This is a unique sour. So much good going on. What an incredible beer this is.

Hunahpu's Day 2018. Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave light lace. Aroma and taste of big stone fruit notes up front, lactic middle, funky finish, fresh throughout. Very tasty.
