On tap at Beachwood it has an orange color with a nice head. Nose has big hops with citrus. Taste has a unique blend of hops, grass and citrus notes. Good finish. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Pour on tap at the brewery, orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of slight watermelon, hints of grass, big orange, grapefruit, citrus notes in there, very slight biscuit note in there but pretty much all hops in this one. Taste is a mix of big orange, grapefruit, grass, pine, dank notes, hints of earth, biscuit and bread, finishing very bitter, resinous and dry. joshwoodward (575) - - JUL 29, 2013
Had a sample in a flight at Blue Palms. Very interesting, no spiciness, but there’s a peppermint thing going on. Quite hoppy. alexandersh (196) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Tap at Beachwood. Orangeish color. Floral aroma with a perfume/citrus flavor. Strongly hopped. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - JUL 19, 2013
On tap; a good beer. Complex flavor; rye, tropical fruit, BO and earth. Quite a strange finish, but strong overall.

Overall pretty good IPA, fresh from the brewery in long beach this past weekend, piney hops and fruit as you would expect, yum. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Tap at Beachwood Long Beach . Pours clear orange with lower carbonation. Weak lacing. Nose is sweet orange juice, designer marijuana. Taste is brash, heavily bitter, massive hop bomb. Resin, sap, pine, orange peel abound. Dry palate doesn’t give back any sweeter malt body to counteract the bitterness leaving an near abrasive finish. On tap. Pours with a few hop particles in an otherwise pretty clear golden hued body. Huge white head that is very retentive. Aromas are dank, herbal, grassy, light melon, sweet (perceived) fruity hop notes. A bit centennial like as well. Low pine and even lower malt character (fine by me). Flavors are somewhat fruity, medium herbal, grassy, low spice, pine, medium co humulone. Nothing excessive. Pretty interesting hop, not bad, but I don’t see myself seeking it out. Low malt that is a bit grainier than most of Julian’s IPAs. Crisp and clean with a medium bitterness that lasts. Slightly bitter balance, a touch of alcohol. Fuller carbonation with a dry finish. brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Pours a clear orange color with a white head. A very nice aroma, plenty of citrus peel, oranges, a hint of tangerine, and pine. Very little rye, maybe some bread. Tons of citrus, grapefruit, orange, and tangerine. Light rye flavor, some bready malt sweetness. Dry and bitter on the finish.
