Aroma: Roasted malts with coffee and cocoa. Smells like a dark mocha. Appearance: Black with minimal head, but lots of lacing. Taste: Light sweetness with dry bitterness. Palate: Full body, dry texture, soft carbonation, long dry finish. Overall: YES! A nice dry stout with a slightly hoppy finish. Really caught my attention. I’m really impressed by this one.

In tap at CBC 2012. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Malty-roasty aroma. Starts intense malty, dry-woody, more and more bitter. Earthy finish, a bit milder. Not bad!

Quite hard to describe the taste in the beginning, but very unusual (in good sense) for staut. Pretty interesting aftertaste where roasted barley is followed by hops bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
