Poured a honey golden straw clear color with three fingers of creamy white frothy head. Lots of even spider web lacing on the sides, Good retention on the top.
Smelled sharp bitter resin hops, grapefruit, orange rind, citrus hops, floral hops, spicy notes and herbal notes.
Tasted grapefruit up front, followed by citrus hops, very bitter notes, sweet floral notes, herbal green plant notes and some spicy notes.
Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish.
A nice IPA for sure. Would love to have it again.

Embarrassingly old backlog. Rating reflects batch 1. Have had multiple batches of this. Clear golden pour with a white head. Aromas are hoppy, floral, citrus, dank, resin, pine, light malt. Flavors are floral, resiny, grassy, medium bitter, pine, light citrus. Bitterness is balanced appropriately for the style. With a lasting bitter finish, medium carbonation. Dry. Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Pine and grapefruit flavor with light summer fruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Pine and grapefruit linger with light tropical fruit. ADfan (870) - Orange County, California, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Poured on tap at Beachwood it pours a golden yellow color with a nice head. The aroma has some citrus along with some pine. Taste has more pine along with some herbs. There is also a richness to it that adds to the finish. Good beer.
