COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Udder Love is a traditional milk stout that’s packed with rich flavors. We begin with British Maris Otter malt for a toasty foundation, then layer on three different types of British roasted malts for coffee and bittersweet chocolate flavors. The beer is finished with milk sugar from the heart of America’s dairyland, Wisconsin, adding a silky mouthfeel. Enjoy this smooth and luscious milk stout and fall utterly in love. *contains lactose IBUs 30

Cotteridge Convention III – May 2017 - Bottle share at the damp marquee tasting. Thanks Bladdock. As ’Beachwood Udder Love’. Black with a red hue, almost opaque, foamy light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, a little milky. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is cola and chocolate, light malts, lactose, light chocolate yoghurt vibe. Decent. (3.5)

Very good milk stout. Aroma is dark and roasted malts with a hint of sweet. Flavors where it really shines. It’s not overly sweet with dark and roasted malts and an understated amount of sweet also a little mint

On tap at the brewery. Pours a deep cola brown with a medium sized tan head. Big roast, chocolate, cocoa a bit of coffee. Medium bodied, nice sweetness coming through, soft chewy chocolate, a touch of brownies and nice roast. Slow roast, a bit of sweetness into the finish, chocolate and cocoa bitterness. Tasty.

Cotteridge #3: 20th May 2017. Bought at the brewery in Long Beach and brought back to England by me to share with friends, which is why it turned up at the 3rd Cotteridge Wine Convention. I thought the British malts should come home! Black bodied, tanned head. Plenty of chocolate like aromas in the malty nose, taste also has a chocolate flavour, smooth bodied, almost milky soft in the mouth.

Scopey (14992) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2017
Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2017. It pours near black with a thick pale tan head. The aroma is soft, sweet, milk chocolate, creamy, coffee & cream, coffee grounds and rocky road. The taste is smooth, bitter, toasty, coffee grounds, milk chocolate, charred wood, leather and a touch of spice. Finish is drying and earthy. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough milk stout.
