Aroma is fruit , grapefruit and hop resin. The flavor is grapefruit, fruit/medium candy, malts and a tart/increasingly bitter/alcoholic finish.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Got this from the mothership itself, this brewery was one of those that I visited while on a beer tour to Santa Rosa. I was the first person to get inside the brewery restaurant, either 10 or 11 am and asked for their best seasonal and got this. Pours an ambery orange, frothy head that dissipates in a moment. Aromas of pine and tropical fruits, the way an imperial IPA should smell. It is very drinkable with everything an Imperial IPA should be: potent but in equilibrium. Great beer; glad I bought a bomber to take home.

Nice orange color with a lasting white foam. Aroma of oranges and tangerine. Smooth bitterness for 100 IBU. Taste is resinous orange peel and grapefruit.

Amber/orange with a dense cream colored head.Herbal, floral aroma. Light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Earthy but with a little oxidation-like flavor (cardboard) in the finish.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. Oh, it’s a sweet nose in this. Sweet like in good-sweet. It’s a cloudy honey colored one this, a medium sized slowly islandy just off-white head on the top. It’s really tropical and fresh piney in the nose. No doubt that it’s a double IPA I’m nosing. Pineapple, mango, peaches, melon, soft zesty and grapefruit. Really good stuff. Tastes just as good as it smells. Thick and oily, almost a little syrupy on the taste and it’s about average and prickling on the bubbles. Fruity and kinda sweetish, then a massive hoppy sensation kicks you in the teeth. Sticky and really berry concentrated with pine cones and a little warming alcohol all the way in the finish. Really good. 17.06.2015

Nice golden medium brown appearance, solid lacing... Aroma and tastes of hops, tropical fruit. Smooth for the ABV. Good beer.

Sporo cytrusów i słodkich owoców w aromacie, podobnie w smaku, chociaż z przewagą cytrusów. Goryczka wysoka, ale przyjemna. Dobre piwo.

Tap at bulldog downtown with commonmac. Light copper with medium white head. Resin hop aroma. Taste is resin hop. Better version of the run of the mill ipa, but nothing super unique.
