brigg (672) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 16, 2011
(draft) A frosted amber body with a small dense head. Very aromatic with strong floral notes and fruit (orange, grapefruit, peach) and pine as well. Bitter hops all the way through, but some peachy-sweetness up front before drying out. Peach and orange aftertaste. Medium bodied, a little chewy.

This poured a dark yellow to light orange with a beige head. Aroma was nice dank hops, piney and some grapefruit, with some pale malt too. Flavor was a bit on the sweet side but not completely cloying, sweet pale malt and bitter citrus and piney hops.

TheGB (578) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 12, 2011
Pours a nice dark amber. Light aroma of herbal hops and some yeast. Medium bodied with a nice balance, I dunno, just not that interesting for some reason.

Maverick34 (3207) - New York, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Draft from Ginger 36th. Pours an opaque gold with foamy lingering head. Nose is earth and very floral hops and pine. Taste is similar with very clean finish. Not punishingly bitter at all - a good example of a hoppy beer that doesn’t try to smoke you with bitters.

3.7
dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 8, 2011
(On draught at Papago). Pours clear copper color with off-white head. Moderate carbonation. Aroma has grapefruit, papaya, mango and pine. Taste is sharply bitter with some underlying malt sweetness. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Bitter finish. Bitter than most DIPA and not as sweet, this beer is more IPA, but its very good.

JStax (6357) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2011
Poured on draft. Appearance is a hazy copper with a sticky white head of foam. Aroma is piney hops with a slight honey presence. Taste is smooth piney hops with a nice comforting honey on the edge. Finish is dry, yet juicy. This is a nice sipper.

gvmdw7 (188) - California, USA - JUN 30, 2011
Golden/amber hue with little head. There’s something fruity, but not citrus, about the smell. Tastes of a little pine, but the fruitiness shows up as blueberry in the taste; must be the English malt or the yeast.

TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Tap @ Red Hot. Clear orange-gold pour with a short white head which leaves moderate lace. Fruity and ganja nose. Medium-heavy, slick body with medium carbonation. Spruce, grapefruit and ganja, supported by a burnt toast and tea malt. Not the best-balanced IIPA, but very respectable Left Coast example. As with all Imperials, this one improves markedly as it warms. DO NOT drink cold.

phaleslu (10100) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Draft served in a tulip at International Tap House-Soulard. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of herbal, oily hops, citrus peel, and sweet caramel malts. Flavor of herbal, oily hops and not much else- some tea, sweet caramel malts, and lemon citrus maybe. Medium-bodied, with an oily, smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Wow, this is bitter and hoppy and good. Seems to have more kick than 7.5% too.

Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - JUN 15, 2011
Tap at Urge. Rating #187. Muddy light brown pour with a great fluffy white head. Great aroma, light sweet fruits with a nice malt backbone. Flavor was similar, lots of fruitiness, mango, pineapple and grapefruit, really nice. (1762)
