(On draught at Papago). Pours clear copper color with off-white head. Moderate carbonation. Aroma has grapefruit, papaya, mango and pine. Taste is sharply bitter with some underlying malt sweetness. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Bitter finish. Bitter than most DIPA and not as sweet, this beer is more IPA, but its very good.

Poured on draft. Appearance is a hazy copper with a sticky white head of foam. Aroma is piney hops with a slight honey presence. Taste is smooth piney hops with a nice comforting honey on the edge. Finish is dry, yet juicy. This is a nice sipper.

Golden/amber hue with little head. Theres something fruity, but not citrus, about the smell. Tastes of a little pine, but the fruitiness shows up as blueberry in the taste; must be the English malt or the yeast.

Tap @ Red Hot. Clear orange-gold pour with a short white head which leaves moderate lace. Fruity and ganja nose. Medium-heavy, slick body with medium carbonation. Spruce, grapefruit and ganja, supported by a burnt toast and tea malt. Not the best-balanced IIPA, but very respectable Left Coast example. As with all Imperials, this one improves markedly as it warms. DO NOT drink cold.

Draft served in a tulip at International Tap House-Soulard. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of herbal, oily hops, citrus peel, and sweet caramel malts. Flavor of herbal, oily hops and not much else- some tea, sweet caramel malts, and lemon citrus maybe. Medium-bodied, with an oily, smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Wow, this is bitter and hoppy and good. Seems to have more kick than 7.5% too.

Tap at Urge. Rating #187. Muddy light brown pour with a great fluffy white head. Great aroma, light sweet fruits with a nice malt backbone. Flavor was similar, lots of fruitiness, mango, pineapple and grapefruit, really nice. (1762)

I really liked this beer. I had it out of the tap. It had strong hop bitterness yet easy to drink

Tap at ACBF. Hazy copper pour with a small head. Aroma and flavor were both fairly subtle for a DIPA, with notes of orange zest, ruby red grapefruit, and sweet honey malt notes. Thinnish palate. One of the more disappointing beers I tried at the fest.

Sampled at The Stables Beer Lovers Anonymous. Lightly hazy golden. Small white head is soapy. Subtle and very nice. Not over the top hops with soft pine and fruit with floral notes. Very light caramel. An understated beer and definitely a nice one.

Draft at Rattle N Hum in NYC. Poured a cloudy orange color. Aroma is not overwhelming for an DIPA. Nice citrus and hop taste, not overwhelming. Nicely balanced.
