On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medim and hazy amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, pine, and floral hops. Tastes of citrus, caramel, some tropical fruits, and a little toasty. Light lacing left on the glass. Sammy (12099) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 25, 2010
On tap at Pizza Plant Transit, post-extreme beer fest. Alcohol aroma, golden colour, lots of white ace, some white head. Medium mouthfeel. 100+ IBU, and really tasty, but somewhat of a palate shreddy. Good drinkability. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 1, 2014
one of the better brews in the dipa fest, though not quite at the top. every hoppy beer BR has done has been quite good, and this one’s no exception. big citrus and pine with just enough malt to not be a palate wrecker. a touch thicker than Racer 10."

Draft... GABF ’06... Hazy yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Floral and fruity; pineapple and grapefruit nose. The flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter with toffee and pink grapefruit. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Astringent, bitter finish. j12601 (11000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 20, 2009
On tap at the Blind Tiger’s VSK3 event. Pours a hazy golden orange with a thick yellowed white head. Crisp citrus, a little bit of pineapple. Amazing given that this was the 08. It’s definitely held up well. Sweet caramel, just a bit oxidized. Long grapefruit bitterness.

Growler from Craft Ale, and a pint at Capone’s, my two current favorite beer hangouts. The pour is dark straw, more toward gold than brown, with 1-finger of well retained off-white head. The nose is heavy piney hops, caramel malt, some fruit, peppery spice, tangerine. Tastes assertively hoppy with a good malt balance, and some finishing fruit. Well incorporated alcohol makes this one very easy to drink, and a damned fine IIPA. Give me another growler of this one any day of the week, and twice when my wife isn’t around. adnielsen (10605) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 21, 2014
Bottle offered @ home via rotefridge. Pours a touch hazy, dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Tropical fruit forward hops in the aroma, especially melon, mango, and tangerine. Some spicy / piney hops in there as well. Pretty creamy and smooth mouth feel. Definitely orange and melons in the flavor. Maybe a touch old, as some of the spiciness appears to have faded a bit which leads to be of bready and bitter notes. Probably a 3.8-3.9 fresh, but I’m going to peg it at a 3.6 right now. Tap at the brewpub. Clear rich golden orange pour with a small white head. Earthy hops with a bit of citrus and grapefruit. Absolutely an English / West Coast mix. Pretty good.
