Pours hazy dark orange with a big puffy beige head, excellent retention. Aromas of pine resin, tropical fruit and flowers, caramel, and toast. Medium full body, rich, moderately dry, good carbonation. Lightly sweet, fairly strong lingering bitter finish. A good solid Imperial IPA. willisread (3459) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 30, 2017

Sampled at 2017 Dayton Alefest- first taste is " oh, that's good" caramel citrus with a toasted finish typical of a good DIPA.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Got this from the mothership itself, this brewery was one of those that I visited while on a beer tour to Santa Rosa. I was the first person to get inside the brewery restaurant, either 10 or 11 am and asked for their best seasonal and got this. Pours an ambery orange, frothy head that dissipates in a moment. Aromas of pine and tropical fruits, the way an imperial IPA should smell. It is very drinkable with everything an Imperial IPA should be: potent but in equilibrium.
Great beer; glad I bought a bomber to take home.
