Great aroma, when you pop the top, it fills the room with hippy goodness. A very well rounded IPA. jimbowood (1036) - Freeport, Georgia, USA - OCT 14, 2007
GABF 2007. A very good beer. Suprised @ the 66% rating. Smooth and drinkable for a IIPA w/ a hoppy, piney bite. Very good. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2009
Growler from Craft Ale, and a pint at Capone’s, my two current favorite beer hangouts. The pour is dark straw, more toward gold than brown, with 1-finger of well retained off-white head. The nose is heavy piney hops, caramel malt, some fruit, peppery spice, tangerine. Tastes assertively hoppy with a good malt balance, and some finishing fruit. Well incorporated alcohol makes this one very easy to drink, and a damned fine IIPA. Give me another growler of this one any day of the week, and twice when my wife isn’t around. obxdude10 (2324) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 15, 2010
Another fantastic IPA from the west coast! Not to diss our folks from the east, though! This delicious beer starts off with an inviting pour with notes in the aroma of pine, grapefruit, oranges and of course hops. The flavors are bitter, spicy, dry and balanced very nicely with just the right amount of earthy malts. AGAquino (667) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2010
On tap at the Publick House in Boston. Red orange color slight head and nice lace. Noticeable grapefruit malt and hop bitter aroma. Citrus, grapefruit, and hops dominate flavor. Balanced aftertaste

Pours golden with a nice thick frothy white head. Resin, grapefruit, pine, with a bit of juicy tropical accents backed by moderate bready sweetness. Classic west coast style with a little more body/sweetness than the typical super-attenuated hop bomb. Really, really nice stuff. tobias (208) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - MAR 23, 2014
22oz bottle: pours bright copper color with a tinge of haze. Quickly fading white head. Aroma is intense. Tons of citrus with hints of flowers and pine. Orange and honey. The flavor is awesome but it didn't quite maintain the intensity. Great balance. Lots of orange. Grapefruit and pine in the background. A little malt and honey. Linger pleasant but clean finish. Not overly bitter. Tons of flavor and aroma. I'd say this is near the apex!

Poured from a 22oz bomber bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Orange in color, slightly opaque. Decent head with good lacing. Aroma is a balance between citrus and sweetness. As for the taste I have two words... Phe - nomenal. The feel on the palate is medium and much lighter than expected for an 8.25 ABV double IPA. Pours orange-amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is sweet pineapple & tropical fruits - fruit punch. Taste is sweet tropical fruits up front followed by really nice bitterness for a long finish - there’s a faint hint of honeydew in the finish too. For a DIPA, this one seems really well balanced. Alcohol not present at all. Good job! slowrunner77 (12037) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 1, 2014
one of the better brews in the dipa fest, though not quite at the top. every hoppy beer BR has done has been quite good, and this one’s no exception. big citrus and pine with just enough malt to not be a palate wrecker. a touch thicker than Racer 10."
