Racked from Barrel 184, this sour, ruby-brown ale was refermented in rum barrels with wild yeast and bacteria, and large additions of local Santa Rosa plums and white peaches from the Dry Creek Valley. Tart, peach and plum essence, with a hint of oak spice.

towards the end of the keg at BeerNV. Has more traditional flavors of a Flemish red than the fruit additions would indicate...moderately vinegary. wood, dark fruit and cherry. Can taste and smell the plums more than the peaches. Interesting brew.

On tap at Apex, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out balsamic vinegar, some roast and barrel. Flavour brings out notes of balsamic, wood, some roast and gentle acidity. Not the most complex barrel aged beer, but it works well. Woody and balsamic on the finish.

On tap at the BD in Chalfont. Poured a deeper brownish color with a small sized off white head. Fruitiness subtle, some funkiness, wood, rummy, and a lighter sour finish. Softer and subtle, but it worked for me.
