Draft at source. A modest woody overtone of light red wine as well. Deep molasses and tar. Very earthy and tobacco. Pitch black pour. Taste is high in boost and modest tobacco and dried figs. Sherry like oxidation. Decent enough.

Nose is rich dark fruits, liquorice, coffee, roast malt, molasses, tar.
Taste comprises chocolate sauce, hoppy underpin, roast malt, liquorice, sticky fruit, big malt backbone.
Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, boost in the climax.

Very dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is dense fudgy chocolate with a good amount of dark fruit cherry and plum. Not a lot of roast. Baked bread and a hint of anise. Flavor is very nice dark fruity figs, dates, cocoa with a potent dirty ashy roasted finish. Interesting beer.
