I had this on tap at stone bistro. it pourded an opaque very dark brown. Lots of alcohol in the nose and flavor. Good up front malt with a lot of hops on the back end. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - JUN 24, 2007
On tap @ Stone - Pours a hazy brown color with a faint off white head. No lacing. Aroma is oak/bourbon and hops. Flavor is oak/bourbon, hops, and toasted malt. A smooth, medium to full bodied beer. The alcohol is noticeable but not over bearing. Took some time to drink it. Very nice beer. nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - JUN 16, 2007

Tap @ brewery 2/25/07. They informed me that this was a double red rocket. Hazy and murkey brown color with a brown head. A big bitter full bodied beer with a nice spice and a touch of chocolate malts.
