12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 9.75% after the finish. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; Very smooth and dangerously easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Very juicy and fairly dank balanced hop complexity, with a nice dark/bready malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy for the ABV. A really enjoyable offering as expected. Bottle sampled from a glass,
this ale was a medium gold with some dark yellow in the glass, there was a bit of haze, and it had a white and faint off-white cover of bubbles that was lasting, nice lacing,
the nose had aromas of grapefruit, orange and pine hops, the hops had a little guava ad a hint of herb, some toasted malt,
malt and fruit sweetness,
this big IPA had flavors of citrus hops - grapefruit, lemon and guava, toasted malt, orange fruit, malt sweetness,
there was a good hop bitterness at the finish, the citrus hops lingered on the tongue,
this drink had a medium-full mouth feel, it was creamy and had soft to average carbonation,
there were a bit more hops than malt in this drink, hops were big on the nose and flavor,
a nice drink. wlajwl (7357) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 15, 2018
Aroma is citrus and spicy/dank hops. The flavor is citrus, mild fruit, malts, grapefruit and a spicy/creeping bitter finish. oobawa (1973) - Tennessee, USA - FEB 7, 2018
Killer DIPA, a massive dose of good ol' West Coast bitterness mixed with juicy citrus and oh so much pine. Caramel toast malt base gives plenty of leeway for the hops to get crazy, which they do accordingly and with reckless abandon. Waves of orange, lemon, and grapefruit, backed up by subtle melon and earthy notes, all leading to a clingy, angry, viciously bitter finish. Pours orange-gold with a thin white head and ample lacing. Nose is classic Pacific Northwest pine-and-caramel IPA goodness. Lovely texture is full and lacking the slightest bit of boozy heat. (You could learn something here, Undercover Shutdown Ale.) Damn fine pint. yespr (49523) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 5, 2018

Draft at Lakeside. Orange golden body, small foamy head. Bready, malty aroma. Taste brings sharp, spicy hops, kind if fruity too. I was put off by the cafe in the name, no coffee at all. Hoppy DIPA. melush (5221) - SPAIN - JUL 6, 2017

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2017 A hazed orange DIPA with a thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with treacle, resinous and piney hops, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light citrus pulp, alcohol warmth, a bit tired. Bottle bought in Oct. 2013.
