Café Racer 15™ features aromas of bright citrus and resinous pine from the generous use of Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops which are complimented by a dry malt finish. The result is a high revving Double IPA that is loud and assertive, much like the rebellious street racers who inspired it. Never ride alone...

Light citrus aromas. Decent head. Hop forward, citrusy, piney finish. Finishes clean

Bottle. Nose rindy, lemon with caramel and grapefruit, very lean tropical. Pour opaque but rich, glowing golden with some mild orange mixed in, a creamy-rocky white head. Taste sweet with a strong alcoholic element, slight oil and medium resin; pine, herbal, caramel, vanilla, mint, sugary, medium bitterness, clean but not particularly attractive. Very full body, just a bit too much, and that holds for the whole -- bold flavors but slapped together and close to clashing. [2017.04.03: 2.9]

Orange/amber in the glass, looks tasty, with a subtle citrus and hops aroma. Tastes of citrus and caramel, very nice. From a bottle in my cellar. Definitely have to get this excellent beer again soon.

Pours a cloudy amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus hops and caramel malts with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is strong of the citrus hops up front but finished with a nice blend of the caramel malts.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a snifter. Translucent cloudy orange with medium white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is citrus/herbal hops, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is citrus hops, herbal hops, and pine hops. Nice beer.

On tap at busters, pours a lightly Hazy orange copper with a medium khaki head. Sweet malt and hop aroma, citrus and tropical. Some bitter sweet fruity hops with, caramel malt. Meh, doesn’t separate itself from many similar DIPAs.

bpreo (3011) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 5, 2017
High in alcohol, which I like. The taste isn’t great, but damn if it isn’t strong.

katrinaez (2358) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 4, 2017
Pours cloudy orange with minimal head. Strong aroma of hops and citrus. Strong hops upfront with a sweet, creamy taste in the back. A little too sweet. Tap.

shawnmurphy (673) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - MAR 3, 2017
12-ounce bottle poured into glass, producing minimal white head with no lacing. Cloudy golden-orange color. Aroma is pineapple, peach and pine. Flavor is orange, grapefruit, pine needles, and a prickly hoppy zestiness. It’s a bright hop profile from the four-hop cocktail. Body is moderate to full; a creamy, slick mouthfeel. Exceptionally drinkable DIPA, especially for the ABV.
