Café Racer 15™ features aromas of bright citrus and resinous pine from the generous use of Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops which are complimented by a dry malt finish. The result is a high revving Double IPA that is loud and assertive, much like the rebellious street racers who inspired it. Never ride alone...

It’s good, but not quite as good as I’d hoped. Quite smooth, not much head. Flavour could do with being a bit stronger.

Pours a slightly hazy amber from a bottle, big citrus and pine notes in the nose. Flavor similar, sweet maltiness but not treacly like a lot of IIPAs, rather dry and very drinkable. Alcohol not noticeable. Very good beer.

Mycket dimmig, halm guld gul, gyllene orange skum. Doft: Barr, humle, citrus, mango, passionsfrukt. Smak: Humle, humle, barr, växter, omogen mango, alkohol, torkad frukt, tamarind. Humlen är verkligen dominerande, 8:an i smak är tveksam.

Bottle. Slightly hazy, golden pour producing a medium white top. Looks great. Aromas of malts, resin and citrus. Notes of grapefruit and melon as well. Taste is light sweet at first with a hint of spicy warmth, then into a fruity and malty flavor. Finishes moderately bitter. Nice mouthfeel, slick, full bodied and with avg co2 levels.

Flaska. Brao trevlig doft av malt karamell o tång. Smaken bra med torkad frukt o gödsel. Bra balanserad o den ligger gött i munnen o avslutas med en mycket trevlig beska.

The beer is light hazy, orange with a two finger high, white, head.

Nose: Orange marmelade, mango and grapefruit. A bit tired hops...
Taste: Pine, resin, orange, caramel, orange zest and mango. I’m disturbed that this beer feels to tired!
Mouth-feel: Medium body. Chewy. Great, bitter ending. Oily texture.

I bought this beer at the release date March 18, 2016 in Sweden. On the bottle the Swedish distributor has put a white sticker with the "best before" date January 1, 2017. I got a bit suspicious and checked the bottle. I found Bear Republics "best by" date: April 4, 2016 !!
No wonder I felt the hops were a bit tired...
To bad, I don’t think this review will reflect a fresh version of this beer.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy deep golden, rich creamy head. Generus aroma of mango and grapefruit. Somewhat dryish with slimmer body than anticipated. Peppery mango, grapefruit and pine. Heated finish with long piney bitterness. An IIPA without syrup and caramel, with intense citrusy hops? If only all IIPA’s were like this, even if it is somewhat boozy.

Almost clear light amber color with white head. Really nice aroma of fresh and dried fruits as well as a toffee-like sweetness. The taste is sweet up front greatly balanced by the following bitterness. A sensation of tropical fruits linger on in the finish after the bitterness. Nice full body. A really good double IPA in my opinion.
