On tap at Apex, pours an opaque amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is sharp, with notes of Belgian yeast, earthy notes, and feet - not much in the hop department. Flavour is well-balanced, bringing out Belgian yeast, light candied sugar and floral hops. Decently cohesive, though a bit messy. Decent, but not up to Bear Republic’s usual standard. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Copper colored beer with a tall off-white head. Nose is floral hops, lots of yeast, spice, and some citrus. Clove, pine, and sweet bready malt. Decent sweetness on the palate, good hops, too. Caramel, bread, and banana. Citrus, pine, and yeast. Clove and pepper spiciness. Moderate bitterness on the finish. Ferris (16296) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 8, 2015

Draft at Sacramento Brewing Company. Very dark, but clear, brown color with a significant creamy beige head. Aroma seems to be resin hop. Medium plus body with creamy carbonation. Flavor seemed to start grapefruit then turned into fruit and pine. The flavor is smooth and massive. The finish is dry, fruity and wonderful. My mouth probably isn’t good enough for such a good beer. djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 8, 2010
On tap at flying saucer. Pours a clear copper with a small frothy whote head. The aroma is a sweet hop with grapefruit and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a bitter hop bite and nice bitter finish. Hides the alcohol well, a good belgian from Bear Republic. Ratman197 (15220) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 13, 2009
