Pours a thin head on clear light golden body. Aroma is mild but nice grain and honey. Taste starts sweet, then goes moderate lemon bitterness for a second, short finish. Texture is crisp.

12oz bottle pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma grainy malt, bready lager yeast, and a light dry hop. Taste of yeasty semi-sweet grain malt, with light dry noble hops. A decent clean no frills pils.

I like my pilsners clear and this one is cloudy. It is better than its current 44 rating. Bubbly, but you cant see it working through its cloudiness. Finishes quickly. Slightly lemony, made me sneeze.

Hazy pale yellow pour with a white head and fair retention. Minimal lacing. Crisp mouthfeel. Very light body. No discernable hops. Slight lemony flavor. Pedestrian but refreshing.

Lighter mouthfeel, tastes like biscuit, roasted malt, touch of something grassy or corn, halfway through the spicy hops come through. Its subtle and persists through the finish.

Dacrza (928) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - NOV 24, 2016
DATE: November 24, 2016... OCCASION: a Thanksgiving spent in the city ends on the couch with more football... GLASSWARE: Hennepin pokal... pours a sallow yellow golden body, with a turbulent center... a snow-white head laces nicely to a half-finger width, ringing the glass like a crown while creating clouds inside its circle... lemon grass, sweet dough malts, slight metallic ping, some softened fruit, and off-putting phenol supply a mixed bag of aromas... mouthfeel is light, almost as a light beer might feel, with minimal effervescence and slight action at the throat...little to speak of at the teeth or tongue, though it is a bit creamy... banana, lemongrass, slight bittering hops, and watery attitude makes this a rather uneventful beer, despite its engaging name... not a beer much above the run-of-the-mill light beer to be had for less cash... not feeling this one, despite its promising start...

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Clear 15.25-oz. pilsner glass From: Trader Joes in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif. Price: $1.67 Purchased: Oct. 26, 2016 Consumed: Oct. 30, 2016 Reviewed as: Czech Pilsner Misc.: Best by Nov. 21, 2016 (I think) Finished some work rather early and decided to review a few beers. Was not in the mood for a pilsner, but why not? Picked this up at Trader Joes, breaking up a 6-pack. Generally a fan of Bear Republic, so hoping this would be decent. Poured a light-to-medium clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass, which is to be expected. Good watery lacing. Very good-to-outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00) Smelled those great Czech Pilsner notes, getting white bread, hazy, corn cereal, peppery spices, watery grain, grass, hay and hints of floral aromas. (Smell - 3.75) Taste followed the nose, getting spicy peppery notes (looking at the bottle, Hallerauer?), corn cereal, salty white bread, grass, hay, maybe cloves, floral and clean grain. (Taste - 3.75) Light body. Thin texture. Lively-to-fizzy carbonation. Long, spicy finish. (Feel - 3.75) Just a very good Czech Pilsner. One of the spicier ones Ive had though. (Overall - 3.75) 3.77 85 B+

Aurelius (5215) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 29, 2016
Slightly lemony, slightly sweet, straw malt aroma. Clear, very pale, with an icy white head. Entertaining label on a standard brown longneck. Very clean and mellow. Slightly mineral, subtle hops, dry. Maybe not as crisp as Id like it to be. Body is sturdy enough, with hops coming to prominence in the finish. ABC Liquors, Betton.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Slight haze to the light golden pour. Grainy aroma, hint of butter. Flavor has some honey sweetness, some graininess, a bit of a buttery back end and a sharp hoppy bite in the finish. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. Solid pils.

Clear yellow with a white hat. A hint of bright fruit over this mildly floral and grain filled pils. It has a soft finish where I usually look for a crisper end. Refreshing and simple. Very enjoyable.
