Gold. No head. This has a bit of a skunky, damp dog sort of hop character. On the palate, it’s a bit grassy, with a decent but unexciting pale malt. mcberko (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 30, 2017
12 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out skunky grassy notes, toasted biscuity malt, and a vegetal character. Flavour is along the same lines, with grassy notes, a little skunk, and again a vegetal character. Super skunky, too much so. Finishes skunky and vegetal. Doesn’t seem optimal. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - FEB 27, 2017
This is a very nice simple pilsner. Not overly dry, it a has a solid crispness to it and a simple but tasty flavor. Could drink a lot of these. ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 5, 2017
Bottle. Nose is strongly grassy and full of bright hopcit. Pour bright yellow-golden, clear with abundant carbonation and a large, sudsy bright white head; the thing really, really glows if backlit. Taste is clean, lightly grainy, good medium hoppiness with low bitterness that is accentuated by relative dryness; firm high mineral content, crisp but with smooth soapy feel and very soft malt, sunshine with streak of lemony citrus. Hay bale, dried grass, streak of dirt. Though the bitterness is so low (this is really more of a dry Helles than a tame Pilsner), the hopping lends it really natural, outdoorsy overtones. Balanced and level, and again, soft medium body and supremely drinkable, kudos for this one! [2017.02.05: 4.0] djd07 (14471) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 30, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is corn, wheat, straw. Thin body, wheat, citrus, hay, light bitterness, good.
Fatehunter (2567) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 18, 2017
Pours a thin head on clear light golden body.
Aroma is mild but nice grain and honey.
Taste starts sweet, then goes moderate lemon bitterness for a second, short finish.
Texture is crisp. Atom (2448) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 13, 2017
12oz bottle pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma grainy malt, bready lager yeast, and a light dry hop. Taste of yeasty semi-sweet grain malt, with light dry noble hops. A decent clean no frills pils. k9coug (116) - USA - DEC 18, 2016
I like my pilsners clear and this one is cloudy. It is better than it’s current 44 rating. Bubbly, but you can’t see it working through its cloudiness. Finishes quickly. Slightly lemony, made me sneeze. Kleg (252) - The Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 11, 2016
Hazy pale yellow pour with a white head and fair retention. Minimal lacing. Crisp mouthfeel. Very light body. No discernable hops. Slight lemony flavor. Pedestrian but refreshing. badhack (554) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 2, 2016
Lighter mouthfeel, tastes like biscuit, roasted malt, touch of something grassy or corn, halfway through the spicy hops come through. It’s subtle and persists through the finish.
