Sampled at The Stable’s Beer Lover’s Anonymous. Clear with some copper in the golden color. A small off white head. There wasn’t a lot to this one, like most of its cousins. This one offered some fairly nice hops that was a nice addition. A nice lager. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 4, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2011 On tap at Rubicon Brewing as a sampler for Sacramento beer week. Pours dark amber worth almost no head. Aroma is weak, and mildly sweet malty. Flavour is sweet and very mild. An OK lager that is definitely different! Ungstrup (38215) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 27, 2010

On tap at the brewery. Transparent copper. Slightly fruity but mostly bland lager. Slight dank earthy taste that I don’t like. alexsdad06 (10636) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUN 18, 2010

Aroma: The nose on this one is light, some malts, fruits, and floral hops
Appearance: It has a pale lager look, it is pretty clear, with a small head
Flavor: The taste is much the same, along with some grass and grainy notes
Palate: It has a fairly light body, and a mediocre at best mouthfeel
It is an aliright pale lager, but it really is sort of eh... I expected a better beer from Bear Republic, but even a great brewery makes a mediocre beer every now and again.
On draft at Bear Republic Brewing (Healdsburg, CA): Pours out a hazy golden color, white head, no lacing, into a 4oz. glass. Aroma of dry barley, fresh wheat, and leafy. Crisp caramel flavor with light grains and muted orange. Usually I run away from this style, but this one was quite good. Drinkability: Nothing stands out, but overall stays balanced. Pairing: Caesar salad topped with grilled chicken. Rebuy: Sure. #367 on 31032010, DG. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - MAR 22, 2010
Draft @ Bear Republic. Pours a hazy, orange-caramel color; creamy, off-white head with good retention and lacing. Toasty caramel, light citrus, and some basic graininess in the aroma; simple and reasonably smooth. Medium body: lightly creamy, medium-high carbonation; pleasant citrus hoppiness (minerals, light earthiness), toasty cereal, and light graininess; tasty, simple, and reasonably basic, with dominant notes of toasty cereal. Lasting, dry finish of toastiness, light grains, and hints of husk.
