Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head. Grassy hops, fruity esters, and a grainy sweetness. Notes of bread, straw, and yeast. Kind of a "dirty" flavor, not really clean like I’d hope for from a kolsch. Grape and apple esters, grassy hops, yeast, and grain. Mild bread, some straw, and a light tartness on the finish. Disappointing. bhensonb (15195) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 24, 2014
Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is a bit fruit backed by bread. Near med body. Flavor is enough citrus and fruit to mostly cover up the malt. Drinks more tasty than many of the style. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 23, 2009

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a golden color with a small sized head. Some citrus and grassiness. slowrunner77 (12044) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 15, 2014
"A little too floral in the nose and flavor to really nail the style, but pleasant enough if a little Over the top for such a light beer. Not a fan, not a hater."

Draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy golden with a finger or so of clingy white head. Nose is pale malt, apricotty fruit, white peppery spicy. Tastes pale malty, with a big apricotty fruity and honey flavor, and substantial hops. This is one of the better examples of this style I have come across. marcus (10227) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 29, 2014
On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours Blonde with a rich off-white head and a mild pine aroma. Thete is a hearty pale malt flavor with a smooth transition to hoppy bitterness. Well-balanced. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 20, 2009
Tap at Blind Tiger. Hazy golden pour. The nose is very clear with a kiss of light crackery graininess. A bit of straw and a kiss of light fruit. The beer itself is really quite dry and fresh tasting. There is very little in the way of hop aroma or flavour. Warming brings up a touch more soft pear estery character. Seemingly flawless. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 25, 2013
