On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours Blonde with a rich off-white head and a mild pine aroma. Thete is a hearty pale malt flavor with a smooth transition to hoppy bitterness. Well-balanced. BLADT (700) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - AUG 29, 2014
From tap. Clean gold lemon with persistent head. Wheat and yeast on nose. Taste is straight forward kolsch. Not a lot of thinking required to enjoy this one. A little heavy on the body. Alright. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 15, 2014
"A little too floral in the nose and flavor to really nail the style, but pleasant enough if a little Over the top for such a light beer. Not a fan, not a hater."

Draft at the bear piss lounge. Nose is fruity like a urinal cake. Taste isn’t much better. Wow. Just not good. bhensonb (15630) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 24, 2014
Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is a bit fruit backed by bread. Near med body. Flavor is enough citrus and fruit to mostly cover up the malt. Drinks more tasty than many of the style.

Had on draft at the brewery. Bready malts, fruity, slight orange, floral, soft and delicate. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 25, 2013
Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light malt aroma. Spice and malt flavor with light hay, light grass, and light lemon. Medium bodied. Spice and hay linger with light malt, light grass, and light lemon. rayOfBeer (674) - El Cerrito, California, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Tap: slight haze on a light-yellow pour small white head. Aroma is very pilsener-like with light grass, light bisquit and small whiff of lemon. Flavor is much the same with grass, bisquit, a light lemon grass and a high carbonation tang. This beer seems more pilsener than kolsch, except for the slight tartness, still nice flavors and good drinking. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JUN 27, 2013
On draft at the Livermore Saloon. It pours a nice golden color with a white head. The aroma has some nice fresh grains, a little bread and lemongrass, floral and orange hops. The flavor is crisp and bready with lemon and orange hop character in the flavor and a bit more noble spicy bitterness in the finish. Great light yet creamy mouthfeel. A stellar American style Kolsch. brokensail (16631) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 28, 2013
Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head. Grassy hops, fruity esters, and a grainy sweetness. Notes of bread, straw, and yeast. Kind of a "dirty" flavor, not really clean like I’d hope for from a kolsch. Grape and apple esters, grassy hops, yeast, and grain. Mild bread, some straw, and a light tartness on the finish. Disappointing.
