This is a great pale save for one thing: I dont like the hop profile. I mean dammit its near perfect in its construct, clean dry malts with a solid hop presence, pretty balanced, semi-dry finish, everything a good pale ale ought to be, but that citrus hop also features a woody/herbal element that I often find in cascades and beers like Fat Tire that are a real turnoff. So yea some serious mixed feelings on this. Purely subjective of course, but thats what ratebeer is all about wub a dub dub

Fizzed over on opening which wasted a little which is a shame as this is lovely. Heavy sediment in the bottle and pours a deep golden orange colour. The orange flavour is present, quite strong actually. The hops arent overpowering and its very drinkable. A great APA!

Bottle. Orangy coloured beer with a strong white head. The aroma is well hopped, and the flavour is hopped and bitter with a decent length of finish. Overall a nice American pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy orange amber colour lasting cream coloured head. Pine resin hop aroma. Malts are ok solid enough not too sweet or over the top. Good orangey hops on the finish. I thought a rather good hoppy fruity American Pale Ale. Some bitterness. Tangerine flavours. A little perfume hop. Good.

Pretty close to a perfect APA, this is light enough but with a strong fruit and hop character. Truly delicious.
